BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or BJJ, is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting, focusing on the skill of controlling one’s opponent through techniques that force him or her to submit.  The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes at Pitbull MMA are divided according to the traditional BJJ belt ranking system. Students in our BJJ program will learn chokehold and joint lock submissions as well as positional techniques and ground control. The objective of your BJJ training should be to obtain complete mastery of ground control and submissions.

KIDS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Pit Bull MMA Kids BJJ Program teaches children about teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence. Kids, no matter how big or small, learn how to use their size to their advantage to counter all kinds of punches, kicks, and holds. They also learn to use the opponent against themselves to achieve throws, take-downs, and position control on the ground, which can stop any attacker no matter their size or strength.

All kids classes are taught by our experienced children’s instructors. In addition, classes are offered at all levels of experience and age groups, ranging from 4 to 14 years old.

Students also get the opportunity to showcase their skills to help develop a positive competitive attitude and spirit.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

MMA is a challenging yet exhilarating full-contact sport that implements a combination of techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Pit Bull MMA classes are led by a World Champion black belt that teaches students the fundamentals of various martial arts disciplines.

WRESTLING

WRESTLING

Wrestling represents one of the oldest forms of combat. Pit Bull MMA's Wrestling Program is based on a blend of Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling which includes takedowns and using the upper and lower body with exercises and drills designed to create the complete wrestler. 

BOXING

BOXING

Boxing is one of the oldest and most efficient martial arts.  Utilizing punches, footwork, and head movement, boxing is the science of hitting without getting hit. Through proper body mechanics, boxing is as efficient as it is smooth in generating powerful punches and beautiful evasive defense. Our boxing classes are conducted in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. In our beginners boxing class, we focus on proper technique and constant improvement. For advanced students, we will see to it that adequate instruction is given in our intermediate boxing class so that we can take your techniques to the next level.
